Tender hearted Hailey is our golden girl and one of the sweetest dogs we know! She is four years old. Hailey is a well-mannered companion on short daily walks and is housebroken and crate trained.

Our shelter veterinarian found that Hailey has two luxating patellas and two torn cruciates, and she is on medicine to help manage these conditions. This medicine must be administered every day for the rest of her life, and her adoptive family will need to coordinate a treatment plan with their veterinarian. We will be glad to discuss this in detail with Hailey's new family. Surgery for Hailey is not recommended - the best course of treatment is to manage her issues medically.

Hailey loves people of all ages, but due to her health issues, we recommend a home without small children or other animals. She cannot run or play or be an active dog - she is more of a couch potato canine who will be such a loving and devoted companion.

This dear dog is a favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers who dote on her! We love her sunny disposition, the way she lives in the moment, and her wonderful equanimity. Hailey's happy doggy face and sweet personality make her a joy to be around. She appreciates all the attention and affection she receives and is so grateful!
